Nous sommes à la recherche de 3 experts Linux pour occuper un poste de « spécialiste en intégration linux » Le titulaire du poste devra intégrer et tester des architectures de stockage de données (Storage Area Network et Network Attached Storage) dans différents environnements Linux. Veuillez noter qu’il s’agit d’un poste ou l’on doit être bilingue. C’est un poste permanent à Montréal avec une échelle selon l’expérience. Si vous avez des questions, n’hésitez pas à me téléphoner. Integration Specialist
Position Summary
- Integrate, test and inspect our client’s NAS and SAN devices.
- Verify installation of hardware, software and operating systems, and ensure that configuration matches system requirements and/or work order.
- Perform quality control testing using in-house functional, performance and stress/load utilities.
- Prepare and fill out accurate, clear documentation for all units tested or assembled.
- Handle and help with equipment shipping and receiving.
- Promptly and accurately update our internal inventory, assembly and other related database.
- Validate defective parts and initiate RMA requests.
- Place and follow up on service calls with the various OEM we use.
- Maintain a high level of awareness to sales’ and customers’ needs.
Experience
- Diagnose system malfunctions and isolate software versus hardware problems.
- Resolve technical problems or clearly describe how to reproduce a particular malfunction.
- Familiarity with Intel’s platform, motherboards and hardware peripherals.
- Analyse test results and draw proper conclusions and recommend course of action.
- Prepare accurate paperwork, following established procedures.
- Configure and paper document high-tech equipment shipments for end-customer.
Technical & Educational Requirements
- Familiarity of manufacturing and test activities related to the storage industry.
- Testing Linux environments.
- Using test beds of NFS and/or CIFS Linux.
- Basic hardware, networking and test lab management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Information Technology or Technical Computer Diploma/Certificate.
