Des nouvelles du Ottawa Linux Symposium qui aura lieu à la fin juillet: -----Forwarded Message----- From: Andrew J. Hutton <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Cc: Linux Symposium Announce List <[email protected]> Subject: [ols-announce] June 5th, Update Date: 05 Jun 2003 16:44:17 -0400 Linux Symposium now at 91% Full We're now at about 91% full and we're on track to sell out around the June 15th goal. If you're planning on coming or know someone who is planning on coming and haven't yet registered it would be very good to do so as soon as possible. (There are over 1200 people on this list and only about 50 spaces left) OpenPGP Keysigning Again this year we would very much like to attempt to strengthen the web of trust. If you've been waiting for time to begin using GnuPG we strongly recommend generating a new key (gpg --gen-key) sending it to the keyservers (gpg --send-keys) and mailing your key fingerprint (gpg --fingerprint <your email on the key>) and sending it by email to [email protected]. Full details at http://www.parisc-linux.org/~willy/ols/index.php including a graphical current status of the OLS keyring. Hotel Status Les Suites is beginning to fill up the block of rooms reserved for the Linux Symposium. If you're looking for someone to split room costs with (the 2 bedrooms sleep 4 people comfortably) you can email [email protected] and we'll see about finding you some roommates, it is a great way to get to know some other Linux people. Schedule Status I've been saying I'd have the schedule ready this week for a few weeks now. I still hope to have this done for the weekend. Once the preliminary schedule is done we'll be happy to take comments and make sensible changes. We'll also at that time know how many BOFS we're able to accept. Blatant Plug. If anyone knows of a client looking for Kernel developers, driver development or similar please put them in contact with me at [email protected]. I'd also be happy to talk to anyone about this as well. We're in need of some new, interesting work. Mailing List Update In theory the mailing list should now include the mail address that you are subscribed with. This should help you eliminate duplicate / incorrect subscription addresses. Questions, comments and suggestions are as always encouraged. -- 5th Annual Linux Symposium, July 23-26, 2003.
