Geek spirit is killing Linux

And if it doesn't get to the desktop market VERY soon, Linux is done.
ISPs say they HAD to get NT because their customer were asking for
those silly little scripts called Frontpage extensions: they saved
their business hours of geeks trial and erroring at 100$ an hour.

Now, wait for the .NET project to get into gear and uncle Bob's low
altitude satellites to get into orbite, at next to no cost if the
electromagnetic canons deleveloped by the US government -- not
Microsoft! -- at Los Alamos are ready soon.

Then Microsoft will be talking business!

Get me right! I'm not a Microsoft aficionado. I hate MSFT from the
bottom of my guts, but I just can't help to observe that absolutely
nothing is done right. Geek spirit is killing Linux. Because of a lack
of focus, too much energy is lost.

As, I believe, I already said, IBM won't change this: the viability of
any OS is built from the desktop up, not from the server down. Linux
is going astray just like OS2 did.
