Open Source Business Models

Currently a 'strategic advisor' to the Hewlett Packard Company and
the primary author of The Open Source Definition, Bruce Perens is a
leader of the Open Source movement. It was Perens who first announced
"Open Source" to the world, in an article carried on Slashdot and
elsewhere. He was the Project Leader for the Debian GNU/Linux
Project, and co-founded Linux Standard Base, Open Source Initiative,
and Software in the Public Interest.

Bruce Perens is the founder of No-Code International and continues to
be an agent for constructive change during the evolution of corporate
cooperation with the Open Source community. Perens will discuss ways
which Open Source can work as a viable business model.
