Job Title: Technical SupportLocation: MontrealReporting to: IT
Manager / Toronto OfficeAs Technical Support, you will be providing
junior level of network andsystem primarily for the Montreal office
(occasionally, supporting otheroffices maybe be included as needed) in a
multi-operating systemsenvironment. Your duties will include data backup,
network and systemssupport and installation, systems deployment, providing
first level ofsupport to systems such as fax OCR station, email application,
editingterminal, and end-user support.Ideal candidates should have a
minimum of two years of IT experiences invaries of supporting functions,
have good communications, and having theability to work in a team
environment with technical staff from otheroffices.Required
skills:· Bilingual in French and English· Knowledge in
Microsoft’s Windows operating systems supported in a
LAN/WANenvironment.· Working knowledge of popular UNIX and Linux
operating systems.· Knowledge of most popular windows based
application such as MS Office,Internet applications, and faxing
application.· Basic level of general PC hardware troubleshooting,
router and firewallconfiguration and administration.Canada NewsWire
is a 24 by 7 environment, flexibility in work schedule, andsome travel will
