Yes, I have the same situation on my machines. Look in the user priveleges
using Linuxconf and it says "shutdown denied", yet the same user can shut
down, after putting in his own password. Actually, in our present situation, I
want users to be able to shut down, since the computer is dual boot, and it
keeps them from cycling the power switch to get back to Windows, but in the
future this could be trouble!
